Chambered Nautilus

The chambered nautilus is a mollusk that uses jet propulsion to roam the ocean deep. The chambered or pearly nautilus is a distant cousin to squids, octopi, and cuttlefish and has often been the focus for artists.
Because of the high contrast between the light and dark colors this luminous painting almost looks like it is floating on top of the canvas. A great addition to your beach home or summer cottage. An impressive size of 30"x30". Original painting and giclee reproductions available. Please inquire.
