Greer Island (aka Beer Can Island)
Sepia tones
Greer Island is a secluded sandy hook or hooked spit at the northern tip of Longboat Key, FL. Off in the distance you can see Longboat Pass Bridge, connecting Longboat Key and Bradenton Beach. One of the things I really love about this place is the tangled mass of fallen Australian pines. Many dozens of them line a long stretch of the beach, bleached white with their huge roots exposed and looming high overhead. When you are there it’s like walking in a “land that time forgot.” It has withstood the test of time, even though Man and Mother Nature have rearranged a few things there over the years.
Price: $215.00
Available but not on display at the gallery.
