Big Bird is the Alpha Male of a muster of peacocks I photograph. He actually has his own mirror and most of the other peacocks know to stay away. This picture is not of two peacocks, but only of Big Bird looking at his own reflection (his vanity) in the mirror. The background is what’s behind me and also reflected in the mirror. I’m told he visits the mirror dozens of times a day and never seems to tire of admiring himself.
