Dancing in the Clouds

Description: Soon after I arrived at the rookery, I saw two Great Egrets interacting with each other in their nest. Suddenly they spread their wings and began rising almost straight up in the air, circling each other, “dancing” and bowing. This ritual went on for less than a minute before they turned towards me, then flew away in different directions.
